A 2018 factory fire in the Melbourne suburb of West Footscray covered parts of the city in a thick plume of smoke. I was quoted in ABC News and Herald Sun articles about some of the hazards of smoke. Fires of this magnitude occur every year or two in Melbourne and are a major public health risk. I spoke about this at length with Mitchell Dye from The Pulse 94.7 FM.
